The pupils of P4-7 are very proud of their poppy soldier. It was a lot of work but it has been all worthwhile. A very effective piece of work which is inspiring the children to write some poetry.

Poppy Day
P4-7 have been busy working on their own version of a First World War soldier. They have been thinking a lot about the Centenary celebrations of Armistice Day. They have painted a poppy on a stone from The River Clyde. Each stone represents local soldiers who lost their lives fighting for their country. These stones will be place at the village war memorial.
