A Sad Farewell

It was a sad day on Tuesday 5th February when we had to say goodbye to Aleks and Julia. They have been with us for almost 3 years and have been a big part of the Crawford Primary family. We wish them good luck in their new home and at their new school.

Scots Poetry Competition

On Thursday 31st January we held our annual Scots Poetry Competition. As usual, all pupils did very well and had worked hard to learn their own poem.

This year the judges were Mr and Mrs Ronnie Gemmell and they had a very hard job.

However, they managed to pick a winner for each year group. The results were:

P1- Joslyn Bark for “Humpty Dumpty”

P2- Jorgie Logan for “Bionic Bill”

P3- Ellie Taylor for “King o’ the Midden”

P4- Julia Zatonska for “The Puddock”

P5- Jack Taylor for “The Bogle”

P6 Callum Henderson for “Glen a Sheep Dog”

P7- Aleks Zatonski for “The Whistle”

Well done to these winners and to everyone for doing their very best!

A big thank you to Ronnie and Grace for a job well done!
