Cookery Competition

P4-7 have entered a cookery competition organised by  the Food Drink Federation Scotland and sponsored by Brakes. It is called the Braw Lunch Brake Challenge. They have split into two teams and have created a dish to cook. One team decided on a pot noodle, the other time chose a McCrawford. They each made their dish and the rest of the school tasted them and reviewed them. They hope to be successful in the competition. Good luck!

On the last Tuesday before the Spring Break the pupils and staff joined the Tea on Tuesday folk to do an Easter Quiz and have a blether. It was a lovely time and everyone enjoyed eating, drinking, a good natter and the quiz. A big thank you to Mrs Nunes for making up the quiz. The winners were Rebecca, James and their lady helper. Thank you to the Tea on Tuesday people for their great hospitality.

Lunchtime Clubs

There are two Lunchtime Clubs running at the moment. On a Monday all pupils are attending a tennis club and on Tuesdays all P4-7 pupils are members of the recorder group. Well done everyone.

Project 3

On Wednesday 13th March Alistair and Steve from Project 3 came to school and worked with the children on Technology.

P1-3 worked on digital posters, while P4-7 used coding to write their own games,

In the afternoon P1-7 worked together in pairs and created their own animation movies. The end result was  amazing and the children were wonderful.

In the evening the guys led an internet safety workshop for parents which was very informative. We look forward to the guys returning in May.
