Visitors to School

The Dog’s Trust

On Monday 7th March The Dog’s Trust came to give the pupils a talk on the cost of a pet. This was part of the school’s work on Financial Education in Maths. The talk was very interesting and it really made the children think about what having a pet involves. Alfie, the dog, came too and the children were able to pet him, groom him ,give him treats and throw the ball for him . At the end of the talk the Pupil Council presented the lady with a cheque . This was the proceeds from their recent Bring and Buy Sale. She said the money will be put to good use.
